WELCOME TO STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION

  

Student Affairs Division is responsible for ensuring the provision of conducive infrastructure for learning and matters related to the personal development of students, residential college facilities, financial assistance, health, welfare, personal and career counseling, society, sports activities and business. This division is also involved in students’ disciplinary matters.

The functions of the Student Affairs Division was clearly defined with the existence of the Educational Institutions  (Discipline) Act 1976, also known as Act 174. In general, the functions of the Student Affairs Division are as follows:

  • To provide accommodation and meals to students living in the colleges
  • To co-ordinate communications between students and UiTM's administration, higher education institutions, public and private agencies, organizations and individuals.
  • To co-ordinate  students’ activities  such as religious activities, intellectual, leadership, culture, sports, business and social.
  • To co-ordinate students’ activities such as religious activities, intellectual, leadership, culture, sports, business and social.
  • To assist students to acquire financial aid in the form of bursaries, scholarships and loans.
  • To manage students ' welfare in emergency and death.
  • To keep order in and off-campus through Act 174,  Educational Institutions  (Discipline) Act 1976
